Student associations

There are three stakeholder groups at the university: the students, midlevel staff/administrative technical staff, and the faculty. Students are organized into student associations to represent their interests to the other two groups. All students in the department are members of a student association like this and thus have the opportunity to actively participate in student association policy. Representatives of the student associations sit on various committees who deal with things such as the library, examination regulations, the budget, or the appointment of professors. They also provide observers for language tests and are involved in the organization of events such as “study day” conferences and parties.
