Automated Implementation of DynaMo Security Policies in Rust

Author: Philipp Schock

Format: Bachelor's thesis, TU Ilmenau

In order to support the model-based security policy engineering process, implementation of security policies specified in the DynaMo formal specification language is automated. The target language is rust whose compile-time correctness guarantees are leveraged in the process. This thesis critically examines the existing DynaMo syntax and semantics and makes some changes. Design and implementation of dynamo2rust, a tool for automatically generating a policy decision module for access control from DynaMo sources, is documented in this thesis.
