Microsoft Dreamspark (new: Microsoft Imagine)

Microsoft offers MINT departments1 the possibility of free use of a selection of its products as part of the DreamsPark subscription. The Department of Physics has participated in this programme since October 2013.

 Those who

  • are involved in teaching or non-commercial scientific research in the Department of Physics,
  • are entitled in accordance with the terms of use, and accept these terms, and
  • agree that their full email address (name.surname@physik) may be passed on to Microsoft² and Kivuto³ 

may subscribe to the following mailing list using their Department of Physics email address (name.surname@physik.uni-marburg.de). Activation will usually take place within two weeks of registering.

The software is provided via the IT Service on the department’s file server (\\vh13smb\software\DreamsPark). Prerequisites for participation in the programme and for access to the department’s file server are a Physics account and a Physics email address.

The required personal product key is available directly in the webshop. The link to the product key and the login data will be sent via email.
