The journal "Nachrichten aus der Chemie" owned by the Gesellschaft deutscher Chemiker (GdCh) publishes yearly trend reports about important developments in key sections of chemistry. The trend report on Inorganic Chemistry 2025 highlighted Sangeetha's work on olefin activation with bismuth compounds (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.) in the category main group and molecular chemistry (Nachr. Chem. 2026, 74, 51-62) and Johanne's work on bismuth cations as Z-type ligands (Angew. Chem. Int.
