13.05.2026 Google Summer of Code 2026

We are excited to be part of Google Summer of Code 2026! The project "Integrating Distributional Copula Regression into the gamboostLSS Package" has been selected as part of the R Project for Statistical Computing. The project aims to extend the gamboostLSS R package with copula-based regression models, enabling flexible joint modeling of multivariate outcomes via component-wise gradient boosting.

The contributor is Bjarne Herbst, mentored by Annika Strömer and Thomas Kneib (University of Göttingen).
