PC Room “E-Klausuren” (03D25)

A PC room for e-exams (03D25) with 105 workstations is available in the multi-purpose building on Campus Lahnberge (location and directions). With the addition of the HRZ training room (06A07), examinations with group sizes of up to 260 participants (in two rounds) are possible.

At the end of the semester, a temporary test center with laptops will be set up in the Central Medical Library (ZMB) for the e-exams of the Faculty of Medicine. This center can accommodate a maximum of 180 examinees (360 participants in two rounds). If capacities remain free, other departments can also use the ZMB for large exams during this time.

Note: An additional PC room has been set up by the HRZ in the former university library. It is expected to be available until the end of 2024.

On all examination PCs, a specially configured examination browser (Safe Exam Browser) is run under Linux, which accesses the examination system via secure connections. As a rule, it is not possible to use other programmes or to access data carriers or the Internet. The special requirements of examinations are taken into account by using quiet PCs and keyboards and privacy screens.
