The MaxGENESYS Biofoundry is a collaborative core facility that provides centralized expertise, equipment, and workflows to automate synthetic biology research. MaxGENESYS enables scientists to design, build, and test DNA and proteins in a high-throughput, flexible, and tailored manner. By integrating automation and standardization, the facility minimizes human error, enhances reproducibility, and allows researchers to increase the throughput of experiments in a way that would be impossible to achieve manually.
MaxGENESYS empowers scientists to work more efficiently, explore new possibilities, and rapidly advance research in diverse areas including environmental sustainability, human health, and biotechnology. Located within the MPI for Terrestrial Microbiology, MaxGENESYS benefits from direct links to complementary core facilities, creating a unique environment for comprehensive biological discovery.
