As from 2004 an administrative fee is charged on enrolment and re-registration. The legal basis for this is § 56a of the Hessisches Hochschulgesetz (legislation governing higher education in Hessen) As from the Winter Semester 2007/08 we will retain the administrative fee charged in cases where students cancel their enrolment or re-registration in order to cover the administrative costs already incurred. |
When re-registering you must clearly state your name and matriculation number on the bank transfer form!
Students enrolling on a course of study, please state your full name
in the space “reason for payment“.
Foreign students may be exempt from payment of an administrative fee in
the existence of intergovernmental or supranational agreements and
agreements between institutes of higher education in which exemption
from charges is guaranteed. This applies to students studying at
Marburg university in the context of an exchange programme. Their
contribution is reduced by 50€ (=administrative fee).
