Dear students,

as announced last week we are sending you the second email today to inform you about the state of our planning for the summer semester 2020.

We are currently adapting the teaching content for digital media and will largely switch to online teaching. Almost all modules, particularly the mandatory modules, that were announced for this semester, will be offered. The teaching formats used in the individual modules, however, will differ. These formats range from online lectures to lectures as screencasts or videos with additional online tutorials to literature-based courses. For the technical support of these teaching formats we plan to build on Zoom, Webex and the open source solution BigBlueButton as well as ILIAS. We are confident that we will be able to provide you with an exciting and innovative learning experience. At the same time, we are thankful to all lecturers at the School of Business and Economics for taking great efforts to adapt the teaching format so quickly.

As announced last week the slightly adjusted teaching program for this semester is open for registration in MARVIN as of April 8, 2020. Please do register for all courses you wish to attend until April 17.

For each module that you registered for in MARVIN, you will receive an email from April 20th on, in which the lecturers will inform you about how to access course material in ILIAS, about access to online sessions and about audio and video recordings.

If you have questions concerning registration in MARVIN please address to our student consultants via Email (). Additional information on registering in MARVIN can be found at: www.uni-marburg.de/de/universitaet/administration/verwaltung/stabsstellen/icm.

Please continue to inform yourself about current developments on the website of the university: https://uni-marburg.de/corona

Certainly, we continue to be here for you and are happy to answer any questions – and of course take any suggestions – you might have.

Best regards,
Prof. Dr. Torsten Wulf, Dr. Regine Reck, Kai Brenneke
