Application period for the 2026 summer semester

In the table below you will find the regular deadlines for Master's applications. These differ in the start of the deadline depending on the country of origin of your university degree. Please also note the information on possible exceptions at the end of the table.

Exceptions:

• Aufbaustudiengang Grundzüge des deutschen Rechts (LL.M.) / Postgraduate Course Foundations of the German Legal System (Master of Laws): Procedure exclusively via uni-assist – deadline for all applicant groups begins on October 1st, 2025, deadline ends on January 15th, 2026 
  
• Bildende Kunst / Fine Arts (M.A.): Start of the deadline for applicants with a foreign university degree: October 1st, 2025, start of the deadline for applicants with a German university degree: December 01st, 2025, end of the deadline: January 15th, 2026
