Universidad Autónoma de Madrid

With 3.2 million inhabitants, Madrid is the third largest metropolis in the EU and the largest city in southern Europe after London and Berlin. The capital of Spain is located in Castile and is the center of Spain due to its political and cultural importance. Madrid is also the official residence of the Spanish royal family.

The Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) was founded in 1968. With more than 30,000 students, it is one of the most important universities in the country. In international rankings, the UAM is number 1 among Spanish universities.
