With more than 181.000 residents Pilsen is the 4th biggest city in Czechia. The university and episcopal city holds an important position as an industrial, commercial, cultural, and administrative center.
Founded in 1991, the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (UWB) now consists of nine faculties.
