In this workshop, the basics of raising awareness on the topic of gender, unconscious bias and diversity will be taught. Besides the exchange in the group, the following questions are the focus:

• What are unconscious biases and how do they work?
• How can I act in a prejudice-conscious way in everyday (work) life?
• What support is available from the Philipps-University?

Target group

Doctoral candidates and postdocs from DFG-Research Programmes (SFB/GRK/SPP/FOR) at the Philipps-University, including participating locations.

Participation can be financed via the Standard Allowance for Gender Equality Measures at the Research Programmes.

The workshop is a cross network offer of the Service point Gender Consulting to all DFG Research Programmes (including participating locations) at the Philipps-University.
