Sophie Blum graduated in psychology with a Master of Science from the TUD Dresden University of Technology. She is a doctoral student in the Clinical Couple and Family Psychology Work Unit focusing on obsessive-compulsive disorders in the couple and family context.
Besides her scientific activities, she is working in the university outpatient clinic for children and adolescents as part of her clinical training as a child and adolescent psychotherapist (specialising in cognitive behavioural therapy).
