With respect to different fields of application, the common objective is to record the behaviors and experiences of humans as well as the scientific development and evaluation of methods of intervention. There are seven areas of work involved in this research focus. This research is being funded by several individual projects of the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG), the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, BMBF) and the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (Bundesministerium für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin, BAuA).
