Science Box

Inspired by the "Speakers' Corner" in London's Hyde Park, students, doctoral candidates and postdocs from M4C, Marburg University, MPI, SYNMIKRO and the Microcosm Earth Center regularly give entertaining insights into their research at different events, such as the Summerparty of Marburg University in 2024 and 2025 and the Festival of the Clusters of Excellence at the Market Place of Marburg.

Before taking the stage on the Science Box, participating researchers are coached in a Science Communication workshop, to provide them with tools and ideas to translate their research into an accessible and entertaining presentation. Demonstration objects are creatively crafted and used to underline the concepts of the investigated research questions.
