Further DZL-associated projects of the AG Skevaki

The AG Skevaki is involved in the following DZL-associated projects:

  • Comparison of conventional and component-resolved diagnostics with the use of three different diagnostic methods (ImmunoCAP, ISAC 112, Euroline) in a pediatric cohort of asthma patients.
  • Molecular patterns of allergen sensitization in pediatric asthma cohort as biomarkers of wheeze phenotypes for the prediction of disease persistence.
  • Evaluation of established and new biomarkers for bronchial asthma in the ALLIANCE asthma cohort.
  • Cytokine Analysis in children with wheeze and asthma phenotypes.
  • Analysis of Eosinophil Derived Neurotoxin (EDN) in urine of wheezing and asthmatic children.
  • Difference in low-grade inflammation in wheeze and asthma phenotypes vs healthy controls in the ALLIANCE cohort.
  • Vaccination status in individuals with wheeze and asthma aged six months – 18 years.
