The goal of this Master program is to offer training in biomedical sciences that prepares graduates for professional careers and doctoral studies.

Scientific knowledge and skills that were acquired through a biomedical or biological science bachelor are deepened and expanded. This is achieved through theoretical as well as practical courses covering different aspects from fundamental to clinical research.

By selecting a major, students acquire advanced knowledge in the fields of infection biology, tumor biology or cell biology.

Through active participation in research groups students learn to perceive and structure a scientific problem and seek appropriate solutions.

This program prepares graduates for basic research in public or private research institutes, applied research and development in the pharmaceutical or biomedical industry as well as other jobs in the biomedical field.
