Career Paths in Management
Science, knowledge, project, human resources and business management
Management is the art of identifying and delegating tasks, initiating and overseeing their implementation, and evaluating and allocating the results.
Project management is a modern method of breaking down management tasks into clearly defined sub-areas and assigning them defined start and end points (objectives). Whilst management remains the domain of economics, the project itself is the natural habitat for people from all social sciences.
As the idea behind a project always involves a very high degree of motivation (“We want to achieve this goal together because…”), people with a background in philosophy are also welcome in human resources departments.
