Erasmus+ Short-Term and Blended Programs
Erasmus+ physical short-term and blended programmes offer exciting opportunities for international incoming students at Marburg University.
In the first and second study cycles (BA/MA/or equivalent), short-term mobilities are typically organized in the scope of Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP). BIP are structured offerings that combine short physical mobility experiences (ranging from 5 to 30 days) with virtual learning components, allowing students to engage in both face-to-face and online activities. These programmes promote international collaboration and intercultural exchange while enabling students to earn credits that contribute to their academic qualifications.
While a virtual component is mandatory for students joining Marburg University in their first and second study cycles (BA/MA/or equivalent), it is optional for students who come to Marburg in their third study cycle (doctoral level).

Thus, please contact your home institution’s Erasmus+ coordination office or faculty mobility coordinator to learn more about the programmes that are offered in collaboration with Marburg University.
How it works - third study cycle

These mobilities are designed to facilitate collaboration with partner institutions, enhance research opportunities, and foster networking among doctoral students internationally.
