Before Arrival

  • Visa

For legally valid information please check with the German embassy or consulate in your country.

Rule of thumb: Citizens of the US, Canada, Australia, Israel, Japan, South Korea and New Zealand can enter Germany as a tourist, i.e. with only their passport. This tourist visa is valid for 90 days.

This should be kept in mind if travels are planned before or after our program.

  • Insurance

Participants will be covered by a combined health, accident and personal liability insurance for the duration of the program. During the application process you will have to sign a document confirming the privacy policy regulations. After the application process students will receive log in information for the Insurance portal.

We recommend buying insurance for travel times before and after the program.
