Kurt Vanhoutte is professor and chair of Theatre and Film Studies at the
University of Antwerp. He is director of the Research Centre for Visual Poetics (www.visualpoetics.be).

Nele Wynants is research assistant professor focusing on the interplay of
performance, media, and the history of knowledge at the University of Antwerp (ARIA).
