  • Course Description

    The course introduces students to the quantitative analysis of economic data. In particular, it focuses on understanding and applying key empirical research methods. Topics include the principles of empirical research, bivariate and multivariate regression analysis and statistical testing. On successful completion of the course, students should be
    able to:
    – Make informed comments on empirical studies; and
    – Conduct their own empirical analyses.

    3.3 Learning-curve effects in production

  • Literature

    There is no single required text for the course. Many econometrics textbooks cover the same basic methods. Choice of book is largely a matter of personal preference.
