Dr. Lisa Rogge
Lisa Rogge is a postdoctoral researcher working on topics around health and development. In October 2025, she joined the University of Marburg, previously she was a postdoc at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and completed her doctoral studies in the Research Training Group 'Globalization and Development' based at the University of Hannover and University of Göttingen.
Her research focuses on the interplay between good health and economic development, specifically the barriers that keep individuals from taking good health decisions and how a health system can support these. She is particularly passionate about addressing new questions that arise as population-wide health insurance schemes are expanding in LMICs as well as the possibilities that lie in increasingly digitized health systems. Within this area of interest, she is for example part of a vibrant international and multi-disciplinary research consortium on Social Health Protection in Pakistan.
