Cost

No tuition is charged to students at Hessian universities.

Students are only required to pay the semester fee of around 300€ per semester. This fee covers e.g. the cost of internet access at the University and the public transit pass, which entitles students to use public transit free of charge, including regional transit and IC trains, throughout the State of Hesse.
