 Welcome to the Department of Physics! 

We welcome students from a wide range of international programs like ERASMUS+, other bilateral exchange programs, MIX (Marburg International Exchange), MO:VE (MarburgOnline Virtual Exchange) and the European Track for EUPeace Alliance Students as well as - of course - freemovers.

  Our courses in English are open to all students from abroad, but please not that if you are a MO:VE student, you  can only join those courses that allow online participation. In the summer semester 2026 these include:

  Registration or, if applicable, de-registration for course requirement/s and examination/s 
  ATTENTION! After expiry of the deadlines, you can no longer register or deregister for course requirements and examinations!
  Participation in exams without registering in MARVIN is not permitted and will not be accepted! If you do not take part in the exam despite your report, this will be considered as a failure, unless there are valid reasons for your non-attendance. (e.g. illness) You must inform the examination office immediately, but no later than three working days (Mon-Fri) after the examination date.
  
  Check the registration or de-registration via MARVIN
  It is recommended that you recheck the exam registration/de-registration, because what is in the system on the exam day is valid!

• Inhalt ausklappen Inhalt einklappen Already enrolled for summer semester 26: How can you register for courses and examinations?

  Unfortunately, as an exchange student already enrolled in summer semester 2026, you cannot register online via the Marvin course catalogue, but have to contact the lecturer who teaches the course you have chosen. Simply send them a short email informing them that you would like to register for their course. 

  You can also register for exams only by emailing the lecturer. Please note that certain deadlines must be met when registering for exams.
