Large Format Services

Use our poster printing and related services (scanning, cutting, laminating) for your research and teaching. We create posters and placards from PDF documents in the common formats A2 to A0. Different types of paper are available and the posters can be laminated, if required. Please refer to the section "Things to know" for information on printing time, pickup times and quantities (maximum number of pieces).

You can scan large-format maps, construction plans, historical pictures, etc. at the IT Service Desk during opening hours. Protective foils are available, we will gladly help you with the operation of the device.

Costs of the large format services depend on size and quality, see "Fees" (uni-internal).

The settlement is carried out via SAP cost centers/internal orders. Students can pay via EC or credit card. It is not possible to pay in cash or invoice.

    Quantities

    Please note that we do not duplicate posters, i.e. we only print the same poster up to a quantity of 10. At peak times, we get up to 50 poster requests per day. Please ask in advance about the possibilities for time-critical posters. (Tel. 28-28282).

    Printing/laminating time

    We will inform you via email when your poster is finished and when you can pick it up. Please keep in mind the following pickup times:

    Printing of posters 1-3 pcs. approx. 2 working days
    Printing of posters 4-10 pcs. approx. 2 weeks
    Lamination up to 1 week (please ask in time!)

    Upload instructions

    Please check your PDF file before uploading it, because unforeseen errors may occur during export. In the upload form, please also specify the additional options, e.g. desired cut and laminate finishing.
