Marie Jude Bendiola is a Ph.D.candidate in American Studies working in popular culture and (social) media studies, specifically on the great user divide between digital immigrants and digital natives. She is also a practitioner who has been working in the field of communications for eight years in Asia, Europe, and North America with experience in journalism, PR, and digitalization projects in the development, humanitarian and academic sector. She holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism and a master's in North American studies.
