Eva Froneberg has worked as a tutor/ lecturer for the Bsc. Security Studies programme at Leiden University in the Netherlands for the past two and a half years. In this position, she has taught a variety of subjects, including interdisciplinary approaches to safety and security, terrorism and counterterrorism, as well as scientific research methods. In addition, she was a Board Member for Women in International Security (WIIS) Netherlands and on the editorial committee of the Leiden Security and Global Affairs Blog.  Her research interests include the roles of young people and education in peacebuilding and reconciliation, as well as the intersections between the Youth, Peace and Security and the Women, Peace and Security agendas.

She holds a Master of Social Sciences in Peace and Conflict Research from Uppsala University in Sweden and a BA in International Affairs from Vesalius College in Belgium. Prior to her most recent role, she worked with the Asia Regional Team at Search for Common Ground in Washington, D.C., and spent a year in Bangladesh as a World Teach Fellow at the Asian University for Women.
