English-language modules in Middle Eastern Studies
The CNMS offers five modules for incoming students that entail seminars in English as well as other foreign languages (such as Arabic, Persian or Turkish).

| Middle Eastern Economics | 6 | Upon completion of this module, students will be able to critically discuss the development and current characteristics of the socio-economic structures and political-economic challenges of the Near and Middle East. They will also be able to apply their theoretical and empirical knowledge to analysing selected aspects of the region’s economy. | Presentation, written examination, or oral examination |
