Caretaker Services

Is the faucet dripping? Is the window stuck?

The caretaker groups look after the various buildings of Philipps-Universität Marburg and they are the first point of contact on site for staff and students. The varied tasks to be performed include:

Answering general questions about the use of the building
Directly repairing minor defects, e.g., repairing furniture and defective doors
Carrying out visual and functional checks in the buildings
Checking compliance with safety-related regulations, e.g. escape routes, escape doors and fire protection
Reporting faults in structural and technical installations
Checking and, if necessary, rectifying problems with the locking system
Preparing and setting up the central teaching rooms
Signage
Organization and implementation of small-scale parades
