Interdisciplinary Conference “Justice from Afar?”

From March 3–5, 2022, Prof. Dr. Stefanie Bock (Philipps University Marburg) and Dr. Markus Wagner (Justus Liebig University Giessen), under the auspices of the ICWC, organized the interdisciplinary conference “Justice from Afar?”, focusing on the national prosecution of international crimes.

Experts from legal practice and academia, as well as from numerous other disciplines (especially psychology, political science, and sociology), explored the specific challenges that arise in German criminal proceedings addressing offenses under the VStGB (German Code of Crimes against International Law).
