Infrastructure and Application Scenarios
A wide range of formats can be realised in the Film Space, bringing together research, teaching, and creative practice:
- Film and video productions (short films, documentaries, essays, experimental film)
- Podcast formats and audio projects (interviews, series, discussion formats)
- Reels, shorts, and social media formats for scholarly and artistic communication
- Practice-based teaching in camera work, lighting, sound, editing, and post-production
- Artistic research projects with an audiovisual focus
- Workshops and intensive formats (e.g. storytelling, sound design, or visual experimentation)
- Collaborative project work in student-led and research-based teams
Technical Equipment
- Professional film and video cameras
- Mobile and fixed lighting equipment for studio and on-location shoots
- Sound booth for voice recording, sound design, and post-production
- Audio equipment for recording and monitoring
- Flexible work and set-up areas for a range of production formats
