08.12.2025 Conference: ViLU presenting at the Psychonomics in Denver

Psychonomics and SIDIC 2025

From November 20 to 23, 2025, the Annual Meeting of the Psychonomic Society took place in Denver. Johanna and Florian attended and presented their research both at Psychonomics and at the Symposium for Individual Differences in Cognition (SIDIC) preceding the main conference.

At SIDIC, Johanna had a talk on individual differences in the acquisition and consolidation of novel word forms. Florian presented work on modality bias in fact learning, highlighting how individual differences in linguistic and general skills interact with input properties.

At Psychonomics, Johanna presented her doctoral project, which examines the role of presentational timing on learning of new word forms. Florian presented his work on individual differences in language production. Both projects were just accepted for publication in JEP:G and Memory & Cognition, respectively. Stay tuned.
