PCs for Blind People

In cooperation with the Service Center for Students with Disabilities (SBS), some PC pools have specially equipped computers that can be used by blind or visually impaired students.

The computers are additionally equipped with:

• Braille display
• Monitor swivel arm
• Audio Output via Speakers / Headphone Amplifier
• ScreenReader Fusion with JAWS as the screen reader and ZoomText as the screen magnifier.
• OCR-Programm Abbyy FineReader
• Translation Program for Braille and DAISY (RTFC)
