Departmental library of the history of pharmacy, medicine and natural sciences

The history of pharmacy understands itself as a link between natural science and humanities. Accordingly, studying sources and literature are essential elements of our scientific field.

Attention!

Currently, we only have a sub-stock of books and sources at our institute growing less day-by-day since the library is moving bit by bit to the modern premises of the main library of the university (Deutschhausstraße 9, 35037 Marburg). This sub-stock, together with the books already handed over to the main library, represents an extensive reserch library in the fields of history of pharmacy and other natural sciences which will be located in the main library in the near future.

For finding out whether the book you are looking for is still at our institute or already on its way to the main library, you have to check the electronic online catalogue (OPAC) of the library on a daily basis.
