About the Speaker:
Tania Li is a Professor of Anthropology at the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on land, labour, capitalism, development, politics, and indigeneity, with a particular focus on Indonesia. Prof. Li aims to bring her research into dialogue with scholars in multiple fields, including geography, planning, law, and environmental studies. She also engages with activists and policymakers who are curious about how their interventions work out on the ground.
