Application Call for Doctoral Researcher or Postdoc Position at the Center for Conflict Studies

The Center for Conflict Studies invites applications for a Doctoral Researcher or Postdoc position (75%, TV-H E13) within the research group of Prof. Dr. Felix Anderl. The position is available from 1 January 2027 until 31 December 2028.

The successful candidate will join the project "Contested Responses to the Climate Crisis: Environmental Conflicts in Southeast Europe in the Shadow of the EU's Green Transition", funded by the German Foundation for Peace Research. The project examines how the European Union is perceived and contested in environmental conflicts in Southeast Europe and explores the political consequences of these perceptions.

The position includes field research in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, opportunities for academic publications, the organization of a knowledge transfer workshop, and the possibility to conduct independent research within an interdisciplinary team.
