15.08.2025 Courage to experiment - Four Marburg research projects receive LOEWE funding

With the LOEWE Exploration funding line, the Hessian Ministry of Science and the Arts (HMWK) supports risky, innovative research projects that are on the cusp of the unconventional. Researchers are given the opportunity to pursue bold hypotheses and radically new scientific approaches with funding of between 200,000 and 300,000 euros over two years - in a science policy environment in which precisely this freedom is coming under increasing pressure. With this funding line, the state of Hesse is closing a gap in the German science system and setting an example for trustworthy, curiosity-driven research.
