Confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM)

Confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM), which is versatile for imaging and measurements (fluorescence, reflection), is an important method for many working groups at the department. Our microscopes (Leica TCS SP2 and Leica TCS SP5) were purchased with funds from the Hochschulbauförderungsgesetz (HBFG) with the cooperation of a total of 9 working groups in the application process. The intensive use in research and teaching requires a clear organization of access, which is regulated in the form of an operating organization and a usage regulation. Booking of the devices is possible for access-authorized users via an online calendar.
