Admission requirements

Required university degree

We require proof of completion of a relevant Bachelor's degree in the natural sciences or proof of a comparable domestic or foreign university degree.

The Bachelor's degree that qualifies for a profession or comparable domestic or foreign higher education degree must have provided qualifications in biological disciplines. It must provide evidence of at least 60 credit points (CP) in subjects that can be found in the basic, advanced and specialisation biological modules of the Bachelor's degree programme in Biology at the Philipps-Universität Marburg. Of these, 30 CP must be clearly attributable to modules with a focus on ecology, nature conservation or organisms.

Direct admission is granted with complete fulfillment of the admission requirements.
