The MICC is held annually by the Kreisau Initiative in Krzyżowa, Poland. The concept combines a moot court modeled after the International Criminal Court (ICC) with a summer school on international criminal law. In three different cases, which are to be addressed according to the Rome Statute of the ICC, international teams represent prosecutors, defense attorneys, and judges, as well as a press team reporting on the proceedings and verdicts. Over the course of the week, participants are intensively prepared for their roles by experts in the field of international criminal law.

We are pleased that this year Jana Hermann, Destiny Faye Ibarra, Linn-Sophie Löber, and Henrik Freiherr von Richthofen were able to participate in the MICC.

First-hand impressions are available in the “Krzyżowa Observer,” the journalistic publication of the MICC.
