Interactive Language Events at the SprachLounge
If you want to take part in an event in the SprachLounge (or want to take a language certificate exam), you do NOT have to participate in an introduction beforehand.
Teachers can book the Center specifically for their course groups, possibly with a focus on specific levels or skills. Please schedule an appointment and discuss the appropriate contents with the student assistant at the Self Study Center or Elisa Saresera.
Interactive Language Events at the SprachLounge
The SprachLounge of the Self-Study Center is open to all learners during opening hours without prior registration and without a user ID card. We currently offer language-specific and cross-language workshops (grammar, phonetics, vocabulary, exam preparation, etc.), language cafés, game events, mini-book clubs, and much more for learners of German, English, French, Italian, Russian, and Spanish.
The average length of the workshops is 60–120 minutes, giving you the possibility to work on a broad spectrum of topics in detail. Participation in events at the SprachLounge does not require a prior introduction session.
If you are unable to attend a session for which you are registered, please give us prior notice so that we can open up the place for another person.
