Credit Points | 6 LP |
Requirement | required module |
Module Level | In-Depth module |
Content and learning outcomes |
The module delves further into research data in the humanities and social sciences with the help of examples of use. The focus is on the computer-assisted methods of data analysis and modeling, which are introduced in a seminar and practiced and reinforced through practice assignments. The students further deepen their knowledge of a specific method via the completion of a final programming project. After completing this module, the students can use the methods of computer-assisted data analysis in the different areas of the humanities and social sciences. They are able to develop and use a software-supported data analysis in a given topic area. They will have learned how to think critically about the consequences of the methods and technologies on science and society. |
