Content and learning outcomes

The module handles, in the form of a seminar, digital media. This way, students become familiar with the theoretical foundation texts from media and cultural sciences as well as information technology and can discuss them.

By completing this module, the students are able to describe different applications and theories of digital media in their own words and discuss them. They can apply the theories that they have learned to concrete media and forms of media use. The learn how to do written analysis of and depict specific digital media as well as their use and effects on society.
