Content and learning outcomes

The module covers, in the form of seminars, the impacts of digital transformation on society and culture. Specific perspectives (for example political, sociological, ethnological or philosophical views) are applied to the topic of digitalisation and further studied. 

After completing this module, the students are able to describe different approaches and theories relating to the impacts of digitalisation on society and culture in their own words and discuss them. They can use the theories and methods they learned on a given topic and reflect critically upon them. The students learn how to analyze and depict the specific phenomena of digitalisation regarding their impacts on societal areas in written form.
