Your Creative Journey - XSpaces Scavenger Hunt: Design Thinking in 1 Hour

As part of the anniversary year, the XSpaces invite participants to join a scavenger hunt: each room features a short workshop focused on a specific topic.

Creative Space – Design Thinking in 1 Hour

Design Thinking is a creative approach that helps teams develop innovative solutions to complex challenges. It not only strengthens future skills such as creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, but also enhances the agility and innovative capacity of teams.

The workshop is designed as an interactive experience that enables participants to go through the entire Design Thinking process in a very short amount of time. Along the way, they become familiar with the core principles of Design Thinking: human-centered design, a strong focus on hands-on action, the development of empathy, and a culture of iteration and rapid prototyping.

This workshop is part of “Your Creative Journey – XSpaces Scavenger Hunt” an initiative by the XSpaces as part of the anniversary year celebrations.

Your Creative Journey – XSpaces Scavenger hunt 

The XSpaces at Philipps University of Marburg are innovative, creative, and connected workspaces. They foster collaborative work, innovative thinking, and the use of emerging technologies. In doing so, they make an important contribution to developing future-oriented skills among students, lecturers, researchers, and staff at the university. The XSpaces provide room to experiment, further develop ideas, and collaboratively create solutions.

As part of the anniversary year, the XSpaces invite participants to join a scavenger hunt: each room features a short workshop dedicated to a specific topic. Participation is documented in a collectible booklet. Those who complete all stations receive a “Creative Badge” as well as a certificate confirming the acquisition of key future skills and highlighting their ability to actively shape the world of tomorrow.

 The workshops can be attended in any order. To enable as many members of the university as possible to participate, all workshops are offered multiple times.

Participation is only possible upon registration via email to creative-space@uni-marburg.de. Please note that the number of places is limited.
