Going Abroad

Students have a variety of opportunities to organize a stay abroad, study and internship, through the student exchange agreements of the School of Business and Economics and the university-wide exchange agreements of the Philipps-University of Marburg.

The School of Business and Economics offers students exchange with partner universities in Europe within the Erasmus+ program of the European Union and with business and economics schools at selected partner universities in the USA, China, and Japan.

For destinations outside of Europe, in addition to the faculty cooperations, the University of Marburg has numerous cooperations with partner universities across the globe, which are open to students from all faculties. Interested students can realize their study or internship abroad through the Philipps-Universität Marburg bilateral exchange agreements with partner Universities, State of Hesse programs in USA and Australia, the Erasmus+ Worldwide program, the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP), or as free movers. Grants and scholarships for a stay abroad in non-European countries are offered for example by PROMOS program and DAAD.
