Centre for Advanced Light Microscopy (CALM)

The CALM is located in the Department of Biology at Philipps-Universität Marburg and offers state-of-the-art confocal and live cell imaging microscopes.

The CALM equipment is located at three sites on the Lahnberge campus. The centre is available to all working groups in the Department of Biology. Groups from other departments of the Philipps-Universität can use the facility as guests of a group in the Department of Biology that is already proficient in the use of the respective microscope. Prior consultation with the CALM management  is required.
