Zhejiang University (ZJU) invites students and early-career researchers to apply for three international summer programs in China, taking place June–August 2026. Programs:
Global Research Immersion Program for Young Scientists (GRIPS)
On campus | 29 June – 9 August 2026
GRIPS is a prestigious, research-intensive summer program jointly developed by four top universities in China’s Yangtze River Delta region:
- Zhejiang University
- University of Science and Technology of China
- Fudan University
- Nanjing University
Participants work closely with renowned professors in a multidisciplinary research environment, gaining hands-on experience and international academic exposure.

ZJU SDG Global Summer School (SDGGSS)
On campus | June – August 2026 (module-dependent)
The SDG Global Summer School offers course-based and practice-based modules aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students can choose 1 out of 18 modules across five subject areas:
- Humanities & Social Sciences
- Science
- Engineering
- Information Technology
- Health

Global Innovation Practice Program (ZIP)
2-week program | Summer 2026
ZIP is a hands-on innovation program that takes learning beyond the classroom. It combines:
- company visits
- applied projects
- social fieldwork
- cultural activities
The program is designed to help international students gain practical insights into China’s innovation ecosystem and develop cross-cultural collaboration skills in one of the country’s most dynamic regions.
